ABOUT DR. BEN WIDAJA

Dr. Ben Widaja is the President Director and Co-founder of Mandaya Hospital Group, the healthcare arm of Selaras Holding, a diversified conglomerate with interests in real estate, hospitality, healthcare, and F&B.

A medical doctor by training, Dr. Ben earned his degree from the University of Manchester (UK) Medical School and practiced at several NHS hospitals in North West England before returning to Indonesia. With a vision to transform healthcare delivery, he now leads Mandaya’s mission to develop high-quality hospitals grounded in the Patient and Family Experience concept.

Under his leadership, Mandaya Royal Hospital Puri, the Group’s flagship facility, has emerged as one of the fastest-growing hospitals in Indonesia, earning multiple accolades including Hospital of the Year 2023. Dr. Ben himself has been recognized with prestigious honors such as the CEO of the Year Award at the Healthcare Asia Awards 2023 and the Executive of the Year – Healthcare at the Asian Management Excellence Awards 2025.
